Seals for use in the petroleum industry

With the evolution of seal technology, people’s understanding of seals has deepened. Seals have evolved from being used on electricity meters and water meters seals to their current application in logistics, transportation, and other industries. Today, seals lock are also adopted in the petroleum industry.

In the petroleum sector, seals are primarily used on tanker trucks. When using seals, it is essential to ensure quality control at the source, standardize the sealing of tanker trucks, regulate the sealing of fuel dispensers, strengthen seal inspections, and revise seal management protocols. The management of seals is crucial:

Quality control of seals: This involves inspecting the seals distributed by lead seal companies to identify numbering errors and ensure the integrity of the seals.

Logistics inspection: This focuses on identifying non-standard seals and vulnerabilities in carrier vehicles.

Standardizing fuel dispenser seals: When replacing the mainboard or encoder of a fuel dispenser, the relevant sector must submit a formal written request. Sealing can only proceed after company approval and under the supervision of the sector manager and relevant personnel from the Safety and Quantity Department.

Safety and Quantity Department inspections: Photos should be taken and circulated to facilitate rectifications. A comprehensive security seal ledger should be established, with verification records, while continuously improving seal management.
